A Heartfelt Plea is a series of reflections on what the Spirit is saying to the Church. It has been born out of my own wrestling with God, sometimes joyful sometimes painful but always good.

This blog came out of me trying to work out what it meant to be a Christian, in England, today. 
I joined the Anglican Church after coming to love Anglican liturgy, and value its historic episcopate which connects it through the generations to the universal church from Christ till today. I had left my Baptist roots and embraced what my forebears rejected. The journey continues. I invite you to join me as I speak to God, and try to listen, and speak his voice.
